CBD is a naturally occurring component of the hemp plant. It is a non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid that offers a range of whole-body uses. CBD is just one of dozens of phytocannabinoids and other phytochemicals found in hemp.
CBD oil is derived from hemp plants that have high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) and low levels of THC. At PureKana, our CBD oils always have less than 0.3% THC. CBD content of CBD oil can vary across different vendors due to the quality of hemp that’s used, as well as varying preparation and extraction techniques. PureKana produces some of the market’s finest quality CBD oil, extracted from healthy, CBD-rich hemp plants grown right here in the USA.
Our hemp is grown and harvested in Kentucky and Colorado. At PureKana, we use solvent-free CO₂ extraction — using the CO₂ from the air we breathe to extract the beneficial molecules.
Scientifically, industrial hemp and marijuana are the same plant, with a genus and species name of Cannabis sativa. They have a unique genetic profile, however. Typically, industrial hemp is fibrous with long stalks and few flowering buds. Marijuana plants are typically smaller, bushier, and full of flowering buds. Newer industrial hemp varieties in the USA are being bred to have more flowers and higher yields of cannabinoids and terpenes, such as the Kentucky and Colorado hemp we’re now using.
Most of the time, marijuana has a high amount of THC and a very low amount of CBD. Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has higher amounts of CBD (in most instances) and only trace amounts of THC. The cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for people looking for benefits from cannabis without the “high.” Historically, hemp has been used to make food products, fiber, rope, paper, bricks, oil, natural plastic, and much more. In the U.S., marijuana is usually used both recreationally and medicinally. The term “cannabis oil” can refer to either a marijuana or hemp-derived oil. All PureKana CBD oils are derived from hemp.
CBD from hemp is widely available across the USA. In 2018, updates to the U.S. Farm Bill legalized the commercial cultivation of hemp under certain regulations. For the best shelf life, store CBD in a cool, dark area away from direct sunlight and low in humidity. This helps preserve the properties of the hemp extract. If properly stored, CBD may have up to a one year shelf life.
PureKana CBD oil is sourced from USA-grown industrial hemp, and may contain trace THC levels below 0.3%. PureKana does not guarantee that you will or will not pass a drug screen after consuming our products. It is possible that the trace THC content may show up on various drug screenings.

All of our CBD products are made from industrial hemp with THC levels below 0.3%, so our CBD-based products do not have intoxicating effects.
Our HHC and Delta 8 products can potentially produce intoxicating effects. Use all products responsibly. With HHC and Delta 8 products, start with 1/4 to 1/2 of a piece. Do not drive or operate machinery while using these products. Do not use if you are pregnant, nursing, or have any diagnosed or undiagnosed health issues. You must be 21 years or older to purchase or use HHC and Delta 8 products. Keep out of reach of children. These products may show up on a drug test.
All of our products are lab tested to ensure that we are providing you with the best possible product. On each product page you will find the most up-to-date results for that specific product.

You will normally receive your PureKana product within 3 to 9 working days.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund on the purchase price within 30 days. The customer is responsible for return shipping.
Due to U.S. federal regulations, we ship CBD products to all U.S. states except Idaho, Wyoming, and South Dakota. We do not ship to these states.
Delta 8 is prohibited and not sold in the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Nevada, Mississippi, Montana, Rhode Island, and Utah.
Delta 9 products currently ship to all states with no restrictions. Stay up to date with the laws in your area.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund within 30 days of sale. The buyer is responsible for return shipping.
