Canyon Hopkins

Licensed Pharmacist (Doctorate of Pharmacy) Canyon Hopkins is a medical professional for Ethos Cannabis- Pennsylvania. Licensed as a pharmacist in Pennsylvania since 2021, Canyon provides medication support, counseling, and learning opportunities for patients across the greater Pittsburgh area. Originally from Connecticut, Canyon attended the University of Connecticut – School of Pharmacy 2015-2021. During his time at school, Can onachieved a Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2019; then his Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2022. Canyon has been involved in medical cannabis since 2017, where he started as a pharmacy technician for Prime Wellness of Connecticut. As a pharmacy intern in Connecticut, Canyon provided patient education nights, outreach events, and assistance to pharmacists while dispensing medical cannabis products. During this time, Canyon actively helped in the Parents 4 Pott fundraisers. Building from this foundation after graduating in 2021, Canyon moved from Connecticut to Pennsylvania in order to bring his experience to a newer program. In his role as a medical professional, Canyon conducts patient consultations and provide PowerPoints, guidelines, and articles pertaining to safe cannabis use to dispensary staff and patients alike. Canyon’s passion for cannabis pharmacy comes from his father, a chronic pain sufferer, who found that cannabis was one of the only available drugs to effectively treat his pain without severe side-effects. What Canyon enjoys most about cannabis and cannabinoids is individualizing cannabis regiments for patients across multiple disease states. Through the use of terpenes, varying ratios of cannabinoids, and the multiple modes of consumption, Canyon believes a wide variety of ailments can be relieved through cannabis therapy.
